Objective for the Week

It is in the middle of the week and I am still struggling with my serve, my timing for spiking, and also the court movement. In the practice today, when we are practicing spiking, my spike wasn't so good, and so I ask my brother (Adam) and Mr. T (My Coach) what I could be doing wrong, and he tells me that I am going in for the same position every time and expecting the ball to be there. They told me that I need to look at where the ball is going, time it, and jump with the ball in front of me so I can hit it.
They also told me that it is all about my mind set on the things happening in court, how I need to work on not caring about the error, but to care about not doing it again. I hope for the game tomorrow and for the tournament this weekend I would improve on my mind sets also the timing and the positioning when I was spiking. Really hope we would do well in the games.

A Late Reflection

Last week I aim to improve several things like my stamina and my movement in game, I tried to train my stamina, but for some reason, I feel my stamina is going down as the week past during the game, I don't know if it is just because we played 3 games on Friday that make me feel really tired at the last game or my stamina is really going down.

Another thing that I improve a little is my timing for spiking, but it is not consistent, one day I might be good, but another my timing for spiking can go crazy again. It is because I am not use to the different sets, and also the different position and timing.

Some of the things I didn't achieve is my movement in game, I still get massed up during a game because I am just thinking too much and not concentrated, and I also panic when I am nervous, those are some things that I have to try and change, and to perform my best during games and practice.

Goal For the Week.

It is one month before the big tournament ISAC, and there are still many things I need to improve on, and this week I want to focus on the following:
  • My stamina.
  • My movement in game.
  • Communication on the court/ Team work.
  • My timing on spiking and blocking.
  • My mind set on the court.
Hopefully in the end of the week, I would be able to say I improve on the list above from the game that we are having on Friday.
